The Golden Days of TGS
Tororo Girls School (TGS) was established in 1962 as a day school in Eastern Uganda by the Tororo District Local Government. The school began with a commitment to providing quality education to girls in the region. Over the decades, TGS has grown to become one of the leading girls' schools in Uganda, known for its strong academic programs, excellent facilities, and nurturing environment. The school has produced many prominent alumni who have excelled in various fields including politics, medicine, law, education, and business.
